1. Scope
These Terms govern Antony’s personal website at antonysisle.com and, where no separate terms are published, Antony’s private services under its subdomains. Antony’s Isle is a poetic and reflective home for Antony’s mind, writing, identity, and creative work, while also accommodating technical and other pursuits.
Every *.antonysisle.com deployment is owned and operated by Antony for Antony’s personal use and use by people he authorises. No service is operated by, affiliated with, supplied to, or provided for BP Debate Union. BPDU material or an old BPDU-domain alias creates no permission, ownership, partnership, benefit, or affiliation.
2. Authorised access and security
Private services may be restricted to authorised users. Access is personal, revocable, non-transferable, and may be suspended without notice where needed for security, maintenance, abuse prevention, legal compliance, or protection of Antony’s systems or content. You are responsible for your credentials, devices, sessions, API/provider keys you add, and activity under your account.
3. Acceptable use
Do not attack, probe, disrupt, overload, scrape excessively, bypass controls, impersonate others, upload malware, submit spam, expose private data, infringe rights, evade provider rules, misuse AI, redistribute private documents or media, or use the services unlawfully, commercially, or beyond Antony’s authorisation.
4. Submissions, files, prompts, and external services
You remain responsible for material you submit and must have the necessary rights. You grant Antony a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence limited to hosting, storing, formatting, transmitting, displaying where intended, moderating, securing, backing up, and processing the material to operate the requested service. If you submit podcast material or agree to appear in a recording, you confirm that you have authority to provide it and have obtained any permission or consent needed for the names, biographies, portraits, voices, performances, recordings, music, transcripts, images, and other material included. You grant Antony the same limited operational licence to edit for format or clarity, host, reproduce, publicly communicate, distribute through the RSS feed and podcast directories, promote, and archive the material for the identified episode or series. This does not waive any mandatory moral, personality, portrait, voice, privacy, or other legal right. A correction or withdrawal request will be considered under the Privacy & Cookie Policy and applicable law, but podcast apps, directories, caches, or recipients may retain copies already distributed outside Antony’s control.
AI prompts, files, and output may be processed by model providers selected for a request. AI output can be inaccurate and is not professional advice. Public Docs shares and Birthday files may be accessible to anyone with the relevant route. Stream content may come from external sources governed by their own terms.
5. Antony’s assets and intellectual property
Antony retains all rights in his writing, identity, photographs, designs, prompts, site structure, configurations, code, documentation, domains, infrastructure, archives, and other original material. Access grants no ownership or implied licence beyond personal use of the authorised function. Third-party material remains owned by its respective rights holder. Short quotation and linking to public pages with attribution are permitted where lawful; substantial copying, republishing, commercial exploitation, model training, or creation of misleading affiliations requires permission.
6. Moderation, preservation, and termination
Antony may remove, restrict, preserve, or disclose content and records where reasonably necessary for security, moderation, incident response, rights protection, disputes, backups, provider compliance, or law. Features, accounts, shares, and entire services may change, move, become unavailable, or end at any time.
7. Privacy and third parties
The Privacy & Cookie Policy applies. Third-party identity, mail, analytics, storage, CDN, external-content, and model services operate under their own terms. Antony is not responsible for third-party systems or content outside his reasonable control.
8. Disclaimer, indemnity, and liability
The Site and services are provided “as is” and “as available,” without promises of uninterrupted availability, compatibility, accuracy, security, restoration, or fitness for a particular purpose. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Antony excludes indirect, incidental, special, punitive, and consequential loss. You agree to indemnify Antony against third-party claims caused by your unlawful submission, infringement, attack, impersonation, credential misuse, or material breach, except to the extent caused by Antony’s own unlawful conduct. Mandatory liability and rights that cannot legally be excluded remain unaffected.
9. Law and disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of the People’s Republic of China, subject to mandatory protections that cannot be excluded. Before formal proceedings, contact [email protected] and allow at least thirty days for good-faith informal resolution. Unresolved disputes are submitted to a competent People’s Court with jurisdiction over Antony’s domicile where permitted. Invalid provisions are enforced to the maximum lawful extent and severed without invalidating the remainder; delayed enforcement is not a waiver.
